Love Isn't Love Anymore

Love is another gift that God gave us. But too many teenagers throw it out way too much. They think it won't affect us one day. But it will. God gave us a limited amount of love. The more we use it, the less we will have to give to our husband/ wife later in life. Love is like a rose. The more that we forget to water and give it sunlight, the more it's petals will fall off. You start off with a beautiful, full rose. Then you say "I love you" to people that you don't actually love. Finally, you end up with a piece of grass with barely no petals on it. Then when you finally do find that someone that you want to spend the rest of your life with, you won't be able to take back all the other "I love you''s that you have said to other people and give them to that one person. Instead of saying "I love you" to your boyfriend or girlfriend in the first few days of your relationship, like most adolesents do, wait until your absolutley sure you love that person before you say it to them. If you say it anyway, then go and break up with your girlfriend/ boyfriend, that person could end up getting heartbroken. You say you 'love' them, then end it? That's not how it works. If you know that the relationship won't work out, don't say "I love you!". Because someone will end up getting emotionally hurt. Remember, God gave us a limited amount of love. Don't waste it!

School? There's More Than Just Education

Did you know that everything happens at school? It really does. Today during fifth period, our subsitutte teacher found a bag of drugs in one of the desks. I had no idea what was going on when people started getting questioned. Even though the drugs weren't mine, I started panicking. I mean, why do people drink and do drugs? There depressents. And most people who do them are depressed so they get even more depressed. So I really don't understand any of that. I think drugs and alcohol shouldn't even exist. There lame. [Or as my friend would say, there JANK!] Also, there are kids having sex at school. What's up with that? One thing: We Are At School! If your going to have sex, atleast have it somewhere private. Another thing: God wants us to wait to have sex until after we are married. There are many teenagers [even adults!] who do not do this. I believe that if Jesus gave up his life for us, then we should do everything we can to repay him. Jesus is THE way to live our lives. He should be THE light of our lives. He should be EVERYTHING to us.

[By the way, if you do not believe in God, I promise I will not judge you. That is your religion. I would like to try and witness to you. But if you do not want me to, I understand. I just think that there should be more people following and honoring our God.]

Face The Giants

Hi, It's Emily again(: So, if you didn't know, my stepdad has a lung cancer and was diagnosed with it about Christmas of last year. About a week ago he was sent back to the hospital. And that's where he's been. He isn't doing very well. My granmama, mom, and many other people do not think he will make it out this time. Well, as you know I'm a huge christian and have alot of faith. But I'm not praying for him to get better. I'm praying that God will make the best decision for my stepdad's life, my mom's life, my brother's life, and my life. I believe that either choice [keeping him alive or taking hin] won't be great, but if it what God wants, then so be it. If he keeps alive, my mom will have to miss work to take him for treatments [less income] and possibly have to put him the hospital again some day. He will also be suffering, I know that my family has had enough of that. If you have never had a family member with cancer, you probably think that the person who has it will only affect their life. But it doesn't. It effects everyone around them. Their family, home life, friends, and about everything else along with that. It's very hard to live with. But you just have to pray for what's best for that person. On the other hand, if God does decide to take mt stepdad, funeral cost will be a pain in the butt, days of work/ school will be missed, and emotions will scatter. But no matter what happens, it's God's decsion and I respect, honor, and thank it.

[Please pray for what will be best for Guy Tyson and family. Thank you.]

The World Is My Stage,

So, the name is Emily Lynn Bryant. I'm fourteen [yes, yesy, I'm a minor]. I have big dreams and great expectations. I love to write stories, poems, and blogs. I'm pretty much new to writing blogs though. I'll learn and get more creative down the road though. I'm a pretty random person, but I can also be serious. I am a HEE-UGE chrisitan. I believe that everyone should be christian. But if your not, I won't judge you. I'm not that kind of person. I just get irritated when people talk about "hating God" and not believing in him. How can hate someone who gave up their life for you? And also, if you don't believe in God, ask yourself this: How did all this become? What made the universe? What made us able to breathe? Who made us? If your a scientist, you would probably say something like "logic" or "the Big Bang". But someone had to create everything to make it happen. My answer and belief is God. If He didn't exist, the whole universe would be just a mass of nothingness. Another thing: Miracles. How do they happen? There is never a scientific explanation of how something amazing happens right when you think everything has fallen apart. I have witnessed a few miracles in my day. It's from seeing a baby being born to having a friend recover form a terrible accident that nearly had taken his life. You see, my friend was in a horrific car accident along with a few other of my friends. Most of them recovered quicky but he took much longer too. He had lied in that hospital for nearly two or three months having operations done, resting, and praying. He had heart surgery, and it seems like he had every other sugery known with that. Even though it took awhile to get here, God sent a miracle to heal him. And you know what? It worked. Because, now, he's out and back on his feet. So, if it seems like your life is falling apart, pray to God. I promise that in the end, you'll have a happy ending.
